Real estate major DLF has launched 92 luxury independent floors in Gurgaon and expects a revenue of close to Rs 400 crore from the sales, the company’s joint managing director and chief business officer Aakash Ohri told Moneycontrol.
“The company is launching 92 independent floors in Gurugram located in corner plots in the price range of Rs 4 to Rs 5 crore and is expecting a sales revenue of Rs 400 crore from their sale,” he told Moneycontrol.
These are of sizes ranging from 2400 to 3100 sq ft, he said.
“We have done close to almost Rs 8000 crore in the independent floors segment since 2020,” he said.
“We have launched and sold independent floors worth close to Rs 7,650 crore in Gurugram and Chandigarh tri-city (Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula),” he said.
“Following this launch we will be launching two high-rise projects in Gurgaon in Q3 and Q4,” he said.
As for the age group, he said that the buyers are in the age group of 35 to 45 years who have either kids going to schools in Gurgaon or their workplace is in the city. “It’s an interesting mix. Independent floors are also popular among people in the age group of 50 to 60 years. A family may decide to buy floors in Gurgaon after selling their family property in Delhi,” he said.
During the 2022-23 financial year, DLF posted sales bookings of Rs 15,058 crore, a more than two-fold increase from Rs 7,273 crore in the previous year. The company has set a target of Rs 13,000 crore during the 2023-24 financial year.
